New MAC Bloggers' Obsessions Collection Coming Soon

On June 21, MAC will unveil its first-ever collaboration with nine beauty bloggers who were invited to submit their ideas to the company earlier in the year. As a beauty blogger, this collection tugs on my heart strings. I was one of the bloggers invited to submit my idea for an eye shadow and lip gloss. While I was not selected for this amazing opportunity, I am over-the-moon happy for the bloggers that were chosen. If you didn’t already guess, this is kind of a big deal. Brands are taking beauty bloggers more seriously than ever, and it’s fantastic!

 

Here’s a look at what is in this collection, eye shadow first:

• Amber Kats from Beauty Blogging Junkie created Sparkle, Neely, Sparkle!, a deep rusty brown with champagne-colored sparkle.
• Christine Mielke from Temptalia created Jealousy Wakes, a seething emerald green with teal and gold pearl.
• Lesley Ellen Mirza from Lipstick Powder N Paint created Parisian Skies, a muted gray-blue.
• Lianne Farbes from The Makeup Girl created Hocus Pocus, a dark sooty grey with silver pearl.
• Karen Monterichard from Makeup and Beauty Blog created Evolution Revolution, a warm peachy pink with subtle purple, green, and blue micro-glitter.
• Patrice Yursik from Afrobella created All of My Purple Life, a deep purple/grape with subtle sparkle.
• Lilly Nima from Beauty Maverick created Caqui, a persimmon orange.
• Aileen De Los Angeles from The Shades of U created Sonoran Rain, a deep coral red with gold and silver pearl.
• Wendy Lam from Nitrolicious created Nitro:licious 2046, an intense shiny red.

 

I already know I will be drooling over Parisian Skies, and I’m very tempted by Evolution Revolution. Anything catch your eye? The collection goes online on June 21, and items retail for $14.50 each.
