Stores are already decorated for the winter holidays, so it's time to get out the shopping lists and give your beauty a gift to keep her (or him) always looking their best. 1. MAC: Holiday Collection     $22.50-$38.00
Every year MAC comes out with a new holiday collection to keep you looking beautiful no matter where you are. Their compacts give just enough variety for you to keep in you makeup bag without overdoing it. This year's theme goes red with all-red packaging and various colors to choose from. All of the sets listed are great to have because, not only can they fit in your makeup bag, but they have enough colors in them for you to have a complete look. They quality of the sets (minus the brushes) is just as good as the everyday makeup they carry. 
Passions of Red: This collection includes various 6-color eyeshadow palettes with a mini brush applicator. You can choose from: Warm Eyes, Cool Eyes, Smokey Eyes and Classic Eyes. You can also choose from 3 lipstick palettes, each fitted with 3 colors. Sets to choose from are: Coral Lips, Plum Lips, and Cool Pink Lips. They also come with a mini brush applicator.
Adoring Carmine: This lip collection has several color schemes to choose from. Red Lips, Neutral Lips, and Rose Lips are the sets to choose from, each accompanied by a red-orange and patent drawstring purse. The sets include 2 full-sized lipsticks and a mini Lipglass. All colors are limited edition. There are also mini brush sets include under Adoring Carmine, but I'm not going to list them. They are poor quality, unlike their other brushes, because they're not made by hand with such precision. The bristles are glued in, which is why they tend to fall apart easily, and they don't distribute color as brushes should.
Passionately Red: Viva Glam goes holiday with two lipstick palettes to accentuate your smile. Choose form Warm Lips and Cool Lips.
2. Shu Uemura: Mika Holiday Collection    $35.00-$85.00 
My favorite Japanese makeup line has come out with palettes just for the holidays. Mika Ninagawa is a well-known Japanese photographer. Her work has been featured in film, magazines, and more all around the world. It's no surprise that she would collaborate with the Shu Uemura team to create one-of-a-kind palettes, each with a photograph she's taken adorning the cover. 
The high-quality pigment in the sets give a professional look. The lip gloss sets are a great addition to anyone's makeup bag, and are easily mixed and matched to create a one-of-a-kind look. There are three eye color sets, two gloss sets, and a brush set.  
Eye Palettes: Each palette comes with 7 colors and one cream liner, paired to compliment each other.  Choose from: Midnight Winter Sakura, Adorned Marguerite, and Secret Luscious Rose. It's a great gift for anyone who is just getting acquainted with the Shu Uemura line.
Lip Gloss Trio Sets: Each three-set includes a vinyl carrying case. Choose from Seductive Gerbera (classical colors) or Delicious Rose (vivid colors).
