Interesting dicussion. Go back to the eternal question, "Did God create man in thy own image, or did Man create a God to fill a void laced with fear and insecurity?" It's all a matter of personal want, desire to fulfill need, and a place to lay blame upon. Faith is a double edged blade ... either it will lead you to heaven or slit your throat. Such is the belief of a modern era zealot and fanatic.
this was a calm, funny panel of well-spoken men. No foaming at the mouth, no shouting, each had their turn. They made some good points with the statistics of people switching their religions. It takes courage to say this stuff publicly. Good for them!
I loved Hitchens Amazing Book god is not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything + I'm just reading Dawkins The GOD Delusion both are Brilliant + Hilarious! Thank God they had the Courage to Speak Up + Point out the Idiocy that is ALL Organized Religion!! ;)) Peace*
