Fresh Body Veil Powder

It may be a bit old-fashioned and even a bit granny-ish of me, but I love dusting powder. I love the smell and the faint dusty film that settles over my bathroom counter when I use it, and it’s really useful for those areas chafed by under-wires and scratchy, expensive trim.

Body powder has become harder to find, maybe because of the old lady associations, and most of what I find is either glittery and scented or of the baby powder variety. I like the scented stuff, but I don’t always want to glint in the sun and while Chamomile-Lavender baby powder has a place in my heart, I don’t want to smell like that very often either. In other words, I want grown-up body powder, and I may have found it.

CLEAN Fresh Body Veil is made with a blend of cotton seeds, cotton extracts and cotton proteins, using no talc, parabens or synthetic dyes. It dusts on smoothly and is lightly scented with the original CLEAN scent, which quickly blends in with your body. It won’t interfere with your perfume, and you also won’t smell like the nursery.

The powder is a cute light pink and comes with a powder puff. It comes in a generous four-ounce round box, with a powder puff. $28 at Sephora.

Thinking of body powder, yes it reminds me of my mother, who will not miss her daily routine of putting body powder all over her body after her evening bath. Yes, I admit it's old lady's habit, but I sometimes will do it too except if I am going to wear black blouse, then I skip it.

If you want a less expensive version, buy your favorite scented powder, then a large box of cheap baby powder. Mix the baby powder with your favorite and store in an airtight container. You will have greatly increased the amount of scented powder and decreased your cost to use it.
There's an excellent line of body owder made by Healing Scents. I have tried the Jasmine and they are talc-free and scented with essential oils. Visit www.healing-scents.com I have No affiliation with this comany! Just support!

Good tip. I love body powder and yes it's hard to find. Avon does have a good selection too and very lovely scents to suit any personality. I too also have J&J baby powder always as a back-up but it's nice to have a grown up scent too.
