Sally Hansen Spray Tan
Ever have that winter pale glare off your skin to blind a person when you undress or in minimum clothing? Yes, so have I. Articles all over magazines advertise, seen on store shelves as walking by beauty supplies, even online marketing for this product, Sally Hansen Tan Glow Leg spray. I figured after trying a few tanning products, just to give in and try this spray see how it works. While in Wal-Mart, I went ahead and purchased a bottle for about $11 the other night to experiment with.

I woke up the next morning and thought after reading directions night before, wow it only takes sixty seconds to dry… nice. Ok, so while I get ready for work I will let it air-dry. I sprayed on legs up to mid-waist area at 6:30 a.m. I was like Whoa with the color as it spray, tad dark you say, but figured I have to let it set I can’t go off spray color, right? As I gave it more than the sixty seconds to air-dry per directions, I could only laugh as I got ready doing makeup and hair, beautifying in the mirror. After thirty minutes, my bottom half looked like I jumped out of an Oompa Loompa scene from “Charlie and the Factory” film and my top half from “Casper the Ghost”.  I continued to get dressed and few minutes later, my kids are busting in my bedroom and I could hear in the background, “Mom, you’re orange!” Oh boy, glad I thought to put on jeans after hearing that. Anyhow, later that morning about an hour later according to directions it should have been dried; I had to go to the restroom (#1 if you must know) pull down my pants to notice the waistband was colored orange… I thought it was supposed to be dried; I did the sixty seconds and some. Needless to admit, after doing my business I get up off toilet seat to flush when I turn around after dressing again the damn seat is orange. What the hell, so am I going to leave a trail in every stall I visit at work today? By the second bathroom visit, for sure it was dried and it did have a nice glittery sparkle to tan guessing where name “tan glow” comes into play on the color of spray.

Opinion and Lesson Learn: worth the price for quick tan without damage to the skin; however, don't spray above the part it's titled for which in this case, LEGS. Give it more time than the body says to air-dry. I wouldn’t recommend before going to bed either or you will stain bed sheets orange.
