Your Favorite Sassy Twins from the ’90s Are Back!

As if we needed more proof that ’90s nostalgia has run amok (not that we’re complaining), now we’re getting a flashback to one of our favorite sitcoms of the era. Tia and Tamera Mowry, the sassy twins from Sister Sister, are back on TV, showing us once again that even though they look alike, they couldn’t be more different (a timeless premise, really). This time, the twins are letting cameras into their lives as Tamera gets married and Tia becomes a mom. Tia & Tamera airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. on the Style Network. And if you just can’t wait, we got a special bonus clip of tonight’s episode in which Tamera has trouble merging her husband’s things with her own.

Heavy stuff! It’s not all slap bracelets, sideways hats, and high-school hallway drama for these girls anymore. Are you feeling old, yet?

Tamera isn’t the only one with the grown-up issues. Our celebrity correspondent Ilyssa Panitz caught up with new mom Tia who dished on everything from sex, having babies, and her other famous half.

DivineCaroline: Congratulations on the show and joining the sorority of motherhood.
Tia Mowry:
Thank you. It is definitely a sorority, I will say that.

DC: How is the mommy thing treating you?
TM: It is a huge adjustment. I was especially shocked at how quickly you have to change into this role. You are not allowed to ease into this gradually that’s for sure. As soon as your baby comes home it is sink or swim so you better be ready.

DC: How did you get ready?
TM: You really can’t. I will say this, you have so much love and joy in taking care of your child. I am so proud I brought such a beautiful child into the world. Although I have my hands full I am also content.

DC: What’s been the biggest shock so far?

TM: My life is no longer about me. It is all about him. I am going back to work to give him a better life. I want him to go to a great school and enjoy family vacations. Another surprise, I am used to my mind being about me, me, and me. That is not the case anymore.

DC: Big change, huh?

TM: I can be very controlling and I am used to things going my way. When you have a child, things do not always go your way. I now have to take everything one step at a time. But I will say, I am having so much fun and this job is so rewarding.

DC: Most new moms I talk to have mentioned that stress that can be involved. Do you agree?
TM: Yes I do that is why I am writing a book.

DC: Do tell.

TM: It is called, Oh, Baby, and it will be published by The Penguin Publishing Group and on sale by May 2012. I will be talking about my pregnancy and mommy-experiences people don’t tell you about.

From Around the Web:
The item about us men an the women is the reason why men will collect certain things. This learning about the man being happy with certain items going into a storage place to visit at a future time is an easier to arrange thing. Also do enjoy those nighttime toilet issues with the lid going down because that man will know how the toothbrush can know how things such as toothbrushes can fly into the toilet.
It feels good to write.
