Talk about a changeup from your average dry advertisement for a conference—Ben West succeeds at creating a “mockumentary” to promote the 2008 Australian Directors Guild Conference. He masterfully entertains his audience while using their idiosyncrasies in jest. West’s other efforts for Eveready Batteries, Max Music, and his intellectual artistry in his short films (most notably The Arsonist’s Riddle) provide a glimpse into his artistic genius.
