If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
So, far, the feedback I received is why did I write these affirmations. So, the only thing I would change is the introduction on why I wrote these affirmations.
Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?
I wanted to write books to educate the reader, inspire the reader to make positive changes to a healthier lifestyle.
Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
The challenge I have is breaking down the “block” that prevents me from writing. Sometimes, I have to put down the project for a few days before my creative returns.
Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?
My favorite writer is Max Lucado, a Christian writer. He writes plain, simple, thought provocative stories on how God plays a role in our lives.
What was the hardest part of writing your book? When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
After writing the book, I found, I wrote similar affirmations with the same theme. Thanks to my editor, we deleted those affirmations and I wrote new ones. I always wanted to be a writer since I was eight years of age, but I was told by my teachers I couldn’t write. But I take classes and have editors to help me write.
How long does it take you to write a book?
Currently, I am writing small self-help books, that my reader can carry around with them and read over and over again.Therefore, it takes me four months to write.
What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
I write mostly at night, since I have a full-time job.
How do books get published?
My books have been published by POD, which means printing on demand. My latest book was totally self-published.
Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
My informations has come from my clients, and my work as a Registered dietitian and personal trainer and massage therapist. For example, four years ago, as a personal trainer, I had a few clients, who after a hard day at the office, would ask me they can exercise sitting down. So, I wrote a book on exercises you can do sitting down: Can I Exercise Sitting Down?
When did you write your first book and how old were you?
I wrote my first book in 2006 and I was over fifty years of age.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
I like to work in my garden, talk to friends, and read.
What does your family think of your writing?
They are supportive.
What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?
How to layout the book pages. how to determine what kind and type of pages to have in your book.

I have written three books so far.

I am a new writer and yes, so far, my readers loved the book.Some have posted the affirmations on their Facebook wall.
