Thank You Mama

I call her “Mama,” a four-letter word whose very mention inspires a flurry of emotions in my heart. We all become poetic, in one way or the other, when it comes to describing or remembering our mother.

Mothers are the most priceless blessing God has personally gift-wrapped for each of us. As the saying goes, God cannot be everywhere so He made mothers. And no amount of words will ever be enough to thank you for all that you have done for us your children.

This day brings countless things you did for me and for my siblings that helped made me stronger, wiser, and happier because I had you as a role model. I am very grateful for all the times your gentle words healed my hurts and calmed my fears so I can face the world feeling safe and secure.

My mother is someone whose love never ends—it only increases and grows with time. You love us even before we are born and continue to do so all your life. You have shown us what is unconditional love truly means. You showed us about how to love unfailingly without limit and selflessly give—a lesson that now bring so many blessings to us each and every day.

She is the truest friend we have, the friend who is with us during our good times as well as our bad times. Mama will always be there—to laugh with us, to cry with us. She will stick with us and help us find the way out of all troubles.

With enduring patience and forgiveness, and inner strength, you gave so much for us sometimes at your own expense. I know that everything I am today relates to you and your endless loving care. Your beauty … it defies all explanation and is far beyond defining. Mama, you are an evidence of God’s blessing to me!

“Nothing can compare to what a mother feels when she gives birth.” You will better understand her when one becomes a mother to a child. Truly, you cannot fully comprehend your mother’s remarkable traits until you become a parent as well.

I know it is hard for you that we are miles away but it breaks our hearts even more to know that you are not by our side. But the words that you instilled in each of us will forever be carved into the depths of our heart and soul. Mama, you will always be our guiding light.

I am so proud, blessed, and thankful to have you as my mother. You shaped my world and I will forever be grateful to all the laughing and the crying moments we shared. You are my fortress, my rock, the wind beneath my wings, and the best teacher I have ever had. Your sacrifices and unselfishness did not go unnoticed, Mama. I am fervently praying for your good health and longer life. I admire you and I respect you. I love you every hour and every day. Thank you so much, Mama. I love you so much and I miss you. Happy Mother’s Day!
