To My Family, Friends, and Loved Ones:
As I hope to update this in the future, reading this now means I befell a premature death. I hope my life will be celebrated and not mourned. We cannot predict our lifespan, but merely cherish the time we spend living. Our only option is to celebrate the life lived.
At the time that I write this, I understand that my assets don’t amount to much, mostly because money was never an importance in my life. I only cared about the money it took to survive. My lack of interest in financial status perhaps came from a lack thereof growing up. From that I gained a creative side for which I am thankful for and do not regret. The few possessions I do have and cherish, I have listed to the below beneficiaries.
Mom
You are one of my greatest strengths. You were the one who taught me to be a strong, independent woman. You were always a role model of strength under pressure and tolerance towards others. You never doubted my decision-making and supported all my endeavors. You are the mountain that supported my dreams and helped me rise to the top.
For all your strength and support that you gave me, I give you my accomplishments.
Dad
You are one of my greatest irritants. You taught me to question everything and to be sure of myself. You made me be my own person. You were the one who made sure I stood proud of the mistakes I made and ones I didn’t. You made me see the right and the wrong, even if it wasn’t consistent with your ideals. You are the base of my core being and influential knowledge.
For all your push, I give you my acceptance.
My Sisters
You are the core of my upbringing. You gave me the answers I never found and the answers I searched for. You challenged me to be different from our crowd and heard above one another. You are the ones who told me the ugly truth, even if it hurt. You are the ones who accepted my truths in return.
For all the challenges you gave and the ones you receive, I give you my worldly possessions for all the trouble.
My Love
You brought me back to life. You saved me from a life of loneliness and rejection. You accepted me with all my glamour and all my flaws. You showed me I was not worth the dismissal and healed wounds of old rejections. You are the one who gave me the power to love unconditionally and accept new ideas. You are the meaning of my being.
For your trust, love, support, and devotion I give you my eternal heart.
