Have you ever had someone you love change his or her life around? Changing to such an extreme that they seem like a completely new person. Sadly, you seem to like the new version more than the old. It’s not that you’re not happy for them, but you feel ... Guilty?
Like, I love the new you so much and can point out so many of your old flaws that I’m beginning to question if I ever really loved you. I am noticing all the times I wished you would change and now that you have I am actually thanking god.
But if I had really loved you before I would have been … content? With who you were … I am now, but … shouldn’t I love you no matter what? If I really loved you it wouldn’t be for a reason like you being a good person. It would be because I love you. That simple … Yet why is it one of the hardest things to find? Sure no ones perfect but still.
You should be able to find someone you love; that would never need to change. But still could, without a loss in admiration, and an instant acceptance, not one that you learn. I guess now I’m just rambling ...
