Pit bulls get such a bad rap. My daughter has a female pit bull and two small boys in the house. One day the older one, two at the time, was playing on the swing set and the baby in the house woke from a nap and was crying so my daughter quickly went inside to get him. The boy on the swing quickly took off and fell in a pond near the house. Their pit bull was in the water trying to get the boy out when my daughter came out. This dog usually HATES water, but she went in to save the little boy.
Thank God for that pit bull, I still have my grandson. She (the dog) is the most docile, friendly, and loving dog you could find. She goes wherever the kids go.
