If a Man Wants You

This advice was passed along to me from a counselor; it was great to hear so I wanted to share it.

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away.

If he doesn’t want you, nothing can make him stay.

Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.

Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.

Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship that’s not meant to be.

Slower is better.

Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.

If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve

then heck no, you can’t "be friends."

A friend wouldn’t mistreat a friend.

Don’t settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.

Don’t stay because you think "it will get better." You’ll be mad at yourself

a year later for staying when things are not better.

The only person you can control in a relationship is you.

Avoid men who’ve got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women.

He didn’t marry them when he got them pregnant,

Why would he treat you any differently?

Always have your own set of friends separate from his.

Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you.

If something bothers you, speak up.

Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.

You cannot change a man’s behavior. Change comes from within.

Don’t EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...even if he has

more education or in a better job. Do not make him into a quasi-god.

He is a man, nothing more nothing less.

Never let a man define who you are.

Never borrow someone else’s man.\

Oh Lord!  If he cheated with you, he’ll cheat on you.

A man will only treat you the way you allow him to treat you.

I challenge the author of this to a public debate anywhere! This is slander with bias and propaganda in every statement.

Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later. Via http://www.divinecaroline.com/22065/35337‐wants#ixzz1kL2Fcet3 I have enjoyed reading this sexist article. Very lopsided; only outlined what to watch out for around men. The side of women that men should look out for not focused on. Try turning all the entries around women and check on what to be afraid of. Relationship formation should not be taken for granted. It is challenging as life intself is. Two people attracted to one another will immediately start a college of understanding and tolerating, and how to support each other. Main thing is to know love is a contribution each has to polish up, make it work for the two. No matter what your counsellor advices you to do or not, love is a two-way sharing thing. Sex should not be the only issue for strengthening relationships; though, it is crucial. Counting errors will not change a person. Offered solutions to help are central for any change.

I totally agree with those wonderful words, for most of my life I have been trying after guys that would end up wit other girls and it as taken a toll on me, at first I use to think that I wasn't pretty enough, well that is very far from the truth I am indeed very pretty. I found out simply that those guys weren't meant fro me, that's it. there not better me, so why should I kill out myself to for them to seem me, if they want me they are just gonna have to work very hard to get me, that's all, i'm so excited to be apart of this website!!
