So yes, God did allow your mom to die when you were ten, that’s a part of your destiny; the level you get to after conquering that hurt and pain will allow you to minister to others in situations of that magnitude. The same goes for the guy whose father was shot at point blank range, and any other horrible situation someone has encountered.
God has not left you. He wants to make you stronger. Bad things happen to good people because this world is contaminated by sin. God can not affect your free will, He can but He will not. That would upset the rules He put into effect. He sent his only son, Jesus, to do that. It’s up to us now to use that salvation to affect and infect others still bound by sin mentality.
My sister, God loves you more than you ever know. He isn’t just using you to fix something that He messed up with his creation in the beginning. He is grooming you to reign, and just like most pets, we don’t like to be groomed. But God knows more than we do what we need, what we can handle, and what we can overcome. If you are not sure of any of this, I suggest you begin to do as much reading and listening to seasoned warriors who have been where you are, and where you are trying to go. It will make much more sense then, I promise you.
