Dating: Negative Self-Talk Thwarts Successful Connections

The way you talk to yourself affects your dating success. If you are sure that you can only attract losers or weirdos, you are more likely to attract them. If you have told yourself that you are completely unworthy of love, you are much more likely to end up alone. If you know in your heart that you will attract the right one for you, your chances of success increase.

How long have you been telling yourself that you only attract losers or weirdos? Or sex fiends or gold diggers, for that matter? You believe it is true because of your experience, yet what if your thoughts and beliefs are keeping you stuck in this pattern? What if you were to decide to turn these negative thoughts upside-down?

Instead of repeating to yourself that you attract what you do not want, do this: Repeat to yourself often, “I attract a person who is right for me. I attract people who are lively, compassionate, and friendly.” You can change this with positive words that fit with what you want to attract.

Are your limiting beliefs getting in your way? “I am not worthy” or “I am not good enough” to attract a kind, loving person into my life. If you want to attract a great mate, you must work on these thoughts. It is almost impossible to stop thinking these thoughts. What you can do, however, is replace these negative thoughts with positive ones: “Of course I am good enough” and “I know with all my heart that I am worthy to find and keep a wonderful person as a life partner.”

Yes, it is important to dress your best, look your best, be on your best behavior, and get out and mingle to meet your future life partner. Remember this important piece as you do: your mind is your greatest asset when it comes to dating. If your thoughts are negative, you will attract negativity. And you are much more likely to be discouraged and want to give up if you allow negativity to take over. The choice is up to you.

You've got it, Leftos. If you are feeding your mind negativity, it's hard to feel good about yourself. Retraining the brain is a learnable skill.

According to the Leftos user, Kyle Miracle, it's all about your mindset. Of course there's deeper philosophy behind this theory and it can definitely be applied to every aspect of life, but in dating, love, relationships, and even sex, it has a very large impact. Simple example is people with high self confidence tend to walk around with better posture. People with better posture tend to attract the eyes of others.
