Serious Bling: Eight Celebrity Engagement Rings

Celebrities are known to be lavish spenders across the board, and this holds especially true for their choices when purchasing engagement rings. Take a look at some of the most expensive engagement rings celebrities have purchased to date. What do you think should be an ideal cost for a ring? Would you ever be willing to compromise the cost of your ring so you could put the money into savings, where it could accrue over time? Or are engagement rings, ideally once-in-a-lifetime purchases, worth taking the plunge for?

oh please! Aand I suppose you and anyone with money should start living like the homeless or start inviting strangers to live with you? All you sound like is a jealous person. Admit if you had the money you would have no problem splurging on the one you love and stop the martyr act.

Seems obscene to me to spend a bloody fortune on a piece of jewelry that you can't even wear because it is too expensive! How many people in this world are homeless and starving, not to mention our bankrupt nation, but there is plenty of money out there being wasted on bling used to impress us with how much money you have. I am not impressed. Having useless bling doesn't make you more important! Let's give them more tax deductions!!!! Seems completely and totally immoral to me. What would be impressive is using those funds to make a difference in the world. Perhaps, if the media celebrated making a difference more and what you wear less, you would be more inclined to examine what is important in life. You can't take bling with you.
