Five reasons why you may be envious:
- Single people are able to have sexual variety. They do not have to have sex with the same person over and over again.
- Single people have more disposable income. Great savings, expensive clothes, and a new car!
- Single people have more freedom to come and go as they please. Have bag, will travel.
- Single people can live a peaceful existence. No idle chatter of kids or significant others.
- Single people can be spontaneous. “I can do anything at any time!”
- Sex with the same person is more romantic and safer than sex with multiple people.
- Two incomes are better than one.
- It is better to travel with someone you love. Sharing life’s experiences with the one you love is much more rewarding.
- Coming home to an empty house or apartment can be lonely at times. Sometimes it would be nice to hear idle chatter or the laughter of others.
- Being spontaneous by yourself can lose its luster. It would be better with that special someone.
One reason you should not to be envious of anyone:
“For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.” (James 3:16 NKJV)
