Five years ago I met someone who I thought was the love of my life. And on June 29th, 2006 we had a beautiful baby girl. We were having financial problems until a wonderful opportunity came along. He got a job offer to work in Florida building concrete homes. It took him some time to talk me into it, but we decided to move our new family from WI to FL.
It was a long way away from home, and family. I only stayed down there for about six months until the most devastating thing happened to me. My family was coming down to Florida for a vacation. They were staying at a place only six hours from where I lived. So I decided to go and visit them so they could see me and my daughter. But after I took the long trip home my boyfriend (fiancé) told me he had a one night stand with someone and he fell in love. He also told me he didn't want to be with me anymore.
I was dumbfounded. I never saw it coming. I thought we were a pretty happy family. And the thing that shocked me even more was the fact that his new love had not one, not two, but three kids. I asked him to just forget about her and try to work things out with his family, but he insisted that they were soulmates.
I try to not think about him. I feel like I'm never going to get over him and he might possibly come back to his family. The thing I don't understand is how he's so in love with a girl he had a one night stand with? What is so special about her to send his family back home, like they never existed. I constantly have questions running through my head. Did I do something wrong? I don't know where to go from here. Should I have hope he'll come back. If he does, is he even worth taking back. We are both young he's 23 and I'm 21. Please Help!!
