It’s quite a symbol of resilience for someone who’s able to simply walk away from a failed relationship earning scars and stripes without ever shedding a tear! Believe it or not, nothing that creates adversity in life will be an easily accepted lesson. Nonetheless, learning does take place, and during these most daunting periods unfortunately, so does self-doubt. The most reliable security blanket is the knowledge that we have a chance of rebuilding, and therein lies the rub—because for most of us, we’re often left feeling led to the same ol’ story of love and heartbreak.

Setting yourself up for failure is the oldest story in the book, and truth be told, many of us are extremely guilty of just that! Feeling as though we’re not good enough, or our type is just a little too eccentric, or maybe that we’re not mainstream enough all sound pretty cliché at this point. If you aren’t willing to give yourself a chance, why should anyone else?!? Get comfy with yourself and when your opportunity comes you’ll be prepared! Both mentally and spiritually.
