I think my husband is cheating because his latest activity around me has been poor. On our son’s seventh birthday, my son and I hung out and then came home. My husband had to work that day, but when we got back, my son and I saw my husband and this girl that lives around the corner from us (by the way, she grew up in our old neighborhood).
They came walking around the corner; to me, it looked like they were together but when they saw me, he stopped and talked to me and our son. She kept walking to go around the corner where she lives. So I asked him, “Are you together?” He said no and wanted to get in the shower because he just got off work. I go around the corner and ask the girl if she was with my husband.
She said no and that she has a man. Then my husband gets upset. I felt like they both were lying. He goes around and brings her and her man to me to tell me my husband didn’t do nothing. But it felt like a stage play to me. Then later that night I find a bobbie pin in his pocket, which he claims he found at work. Then his cell phone is always on vibrate and a call came in at 3:00 a.m. I asked him who it was and he said he didn’t know.
The next week, his paycheck is missing five hours but he doesn’t want to go to HR to get it fixed—that tells me he knows why there are missing hours. He picked me up from work one day and got a phone call and said, “Not today.” He hung up. Later that day, I asked who that was; he said he doesn’t remember that at all. I went into the cell phone to prove my point; the call was erased.
This is what kills me: he knows I don’t like my in-laws; I don’t go to their house or call them or anything. His sister calls with a fake emergency and he asked if I want to go with him. I said no, which he knew I was going to say. He stayed three hours without a phone call to me or anything. Someone please tell me, am I going overboard with this or what?
