Hi. My girlfriend broke up with me about a week ago. We stayed in the same house for a few days, as I had nowhere else to go. I couldn’t sleep all night. I’d talk when she would get up at 5 for work and I found texts on her phone from another boy. They said things that really got to me, like that he was taking her shopping and they were seeing each other.
After a few days of no sleep and no food, I knew no other answer, so I started cutting my arms. The girl of my dreams was coming straight in, and going straight out, sleeping out ... there was a text on her phone saying, “I hope you’re still sleeping round Friday” from this boy she works with. When my sister found the cuts on my arms and saw how low I really was, she told my mum and now I’m living back there. My girlfriend promised she wasn’t seeing him and she used him to get the shopping centre.
My girlfriend said I should go to my mum’s for a week, no contact, and then she will tell me if she wants me or not. It’s been three days and she seems like it really doesn’t bother her. She’s not asking about me, hasn’t text me, and she was out last night up the town. She didn’t go home ... I’m so sure she’s gonna tell me she doesn’t want me, but I cant let go. I hate being alone ... how do I get through this?
