I had my son at home with a midwife. He was born in Phx AZ. The weather was 102 degrees. It only took 3 hours, (my first birth) He was crying before he even got out. I was up and walking within 15 minutes. He was nursing a half hour after birth. He has a Son of his own now.
The moment my daughter slipped out of me I was amazed. I didnt cry but gasped knowing she was here and would be just fine. The 2nd moment was seeing her smile the first time. She had just woken me up to feed and she looked up at me and smiled. I wont forget that ever. It makes me emoitional still.

My most memorable moment wa when they placed my son in my arms. He wasn't crying or anything. He had his eyes wide open. I will never forget the look he had on his face. It was as though he was saying "I love you mom!" I fell in love with him that very moment.

My memorable moment was simply being able to hold my son. My son was born 3 months early weighing a little less than 2 lbs. I was able to hold him 4 days after he was born. The moment I touched him I knew I was touching a miracle. Today he is a happy healthy 1 year old and is and always will be the true love of my life.

I remember the first time my daughter said "mama".
One of my memorable moments was when my daughter said mama for the first time. I was holding her and I had to do something so I gave her to my husband, as I started to walk away she reached her hands out to me and said mama. My husband and I looked at each other like did you just hear that too. It was an amazing feeling that I will never forget.

My most memorable first moment was right after my baby was placed in the cradle beside me by the nurse, he turned his head into my direction and looked at me with curiosity.
The first moment that I can remember perfectly is right after my daughter was born and our doctor placed her on my chest. She immediately snuggled up under my chin and I was the happiest I had ever been in my entire life. :)
