In my experiances, I found the secret to making the best, biggest bubbles lies in a trip to the pharmacy section! A bottle of glycerin, widely available in the pharmacy section of any major store will strengthen and increase bubble size for maximum giggles! My Grandmother taught me this secret when I was a young girl. She and I spent countless hours creating magical bubbles as big as my head.
Big Bubbles Recipe
1 Cup Slightly Warm Water
2 Tablespoons Liquid Detergent
1 Tablespoon Glycerin
½ Teaspoon Sugar
Stir together all ingredients. Use bubble wands, paper towel rolls cut in half, toilet paper tubes, etc. to gently blow large bubbles! Make one batch per child (or child at heart!) that will be enjoying.
