We're a Vicks family! I stock up on the tissues with Vicks, Vapo Rub and loads of chicken soup when my kids are sick.

My eldest has this doll she's had since birth and when she's feeling sick or sad, we give it a bath in the washing machine and that makes her feel better.

We are a three generation Vicks family. Our most common use for it is to rub it on our feet right after a hot bath at night. We put cotton socks on right away and it really helps my little one with congestion and head colds. My mom always rubbed it all over my chest and then put a soft cotton flannel cloth on over it.

When my kids are sick, I make some homemade chicken noodle soup. They ususally want that with some crackers and ginger ale. I hate it when they are sick! Vicks is perfect, because I don't like to give them a lot of medicine. It is really soothing, and helps them breathe, so they can sleep.

I'm dealing with strep throat for the 6th time this year right now so I'm almost an expert on this. lol j/k I'm give them motrin and plenty of drinks. I'm real big on cuddling with them when they are sick. They get to lay around and watch some cartoons. I'm so ready for the sick season to be done and over with.

I give them tylenol, rub them down with vicks. Get a glass of ginger ale and lay with them watching their fave dvd usually rubbing their temples till they fall asleep.
