I do every thing I can, because I hate to see some one I care for to be sick.

I wait on him and bring him anything good he wants to eat.
Give him vitamins and lots of liquids. Keep him warm and comfy.
He usually gets better soon.

I load them up with valium and codeine....and rub Vicks on their chest of course. Hook up up to a heart monitor just to make sure I didn't over-do the codeine, and 48 hours later, their out running around and playing their little hearts out.

To make my nieces and nephew feel better, I bundle them up when they are sick. I also give them some games to play to occupy their minds so they don't focus on the fact that they are sick.

Oh the Vicks is a major part of the process. Rub on the Vicks, make up the couch, stock up on ginger ale & lots of hugs and once he starts feeling better, then it's a new coloring book & crayons.

I have four daughters and whenever one is sick I make up the couch in the family room with sheets and bedding. This makes them feel special.
