Are Parents Doing the Right Thing?

The advent of Web 2.0 has made it even easier for anyone to post information online. Over four million people have viewed this video on YouTube, and while many think it’s funny and cute, an equal contingent of concerned people are asking—should a parent post something on a public forum that compromises the privacy of a minor? Is this harmless or inappropriate? Tell us what you think by leaving a comment at the bottom of the page, and don’t forget to vote in the poll below.

It is a little funny, but if you want to share it on YouTube, perhaps only share it with your family. You can post private videos ya know...

The child has just BEEN to the dentist and it sure looks like they're headed for home. This is just a slice of real life and I see absolutely no harm in taking and posting a video. 'Comforting' anyone who's clearly in a drugged state is useless; at any rate the child is disoriented and in my estimation doesn't appear afraid.

I as well see no purpose for this. Some what amousing the kid is high and should be at home.

I can't get past the fact that this child is disoriented and a little afraid, and his father thinks its more important to video tape him than to comfort him, or at least get him home where he is more comfortable. To continue to ask him if he feels good when the child is obviously high as a bat is a tad disconcerting to me. And I see a HUGE difference between a child becoming dizzy from a merry go round and dealing with the after effects of Nitrous Oxide, or whatever was used to sedate this child. I'm with Katherine on this one. Pops better hope this is over and gone before he finds himself needing a ride home in the same situation.

I guess, I'm more interested in knowing what the intended purpose was to post this on you-tube for all to see . . . ?????
It feels good to write.
