What’s in Your Fridge?

As I peer into my fridge, I see a turkey, Greek yogurt, tomatoes, many condiments, orange juice, eggs, butter, Parmesan cheese, half a bottle of white wine, baby carrots, and old parsley. I’m learning that a well-stocked fridge means the difference between being unprepared—or being prepared for anything.

I always have way too many condiments and salad dressings. Also a lot of leftovers that I end up throwing away, boo. And of course my boyfriend's crappy beer! Then there is reall food mixed in with all this crap!

There's way too much there. I'm the condiment queen: chutney, sauces, spreads, olives, pickles. Usually there is a container of leftovers. I always cook extra for the freezer and for another fresh meal. (Saves my time and is economical.) There's milk, juices, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, kefir, cottage cheese. My grown sons come home and open the fridge and check it out as they did when they were kids. I've always had a pretty full fridge, thank G-d, and could always find another a mouth or two if necessary.

I too, have lots of cheese. My husband LOVES my grilled cheese sandwiches! I have milk, juice, real butter (and margarine too!), all kinds of condiments, fruit, salad stuff, eggs, bacon, juice, and meat for tomorrow's dinner. I always have a well-stocked refrigerator and freezer.
Ya, I'm sharing the fridge with my sis-in-law,she puts a lot of left overs, which she throws away in the end. I do put butter, jam, yogurt, water to drink, milk, vegs .n d fridge, chicken, franks, burger meat patties n d freezer. That would be all the place left for me.

I always seem to have a loaf of bread, cheese, and a quarter wedge of leftover burrito from sometime that week. Staples. Also, I can typically find at least one bottle of the original dressing from The House of Prime Rib. Sooo good. Although I think the one in there now is expired. Doh.
I usually try to keep the basics in my fridge at all times. Milk, Greek yogurt, turkey, cheddar cheese, bread (keeps it fresh), and lots of veggies. Oh and Eric's gallon of Arizona Ice Tea. For some reason he can't live without it.
