Legs doze off while on cramped car trips, arms take a nap when they’re laden with shopping bags, and butts go numb after sitting for a long time (or at least mine does). No matter how hard we fight it, and no matter how uncomfortable it might be, body parts are going to fall asleep, and there’s no way to prevent it. All we can do is drag our useless limbs around, trying to get the circulation back sooner rather than later. Because those pins-and-needles hurt.
