I love networking. Because I spend a lot of time meeting people, I am often giving my “elevator pitch.” People are usually intrigued by what I do but I often hear, “Sounds to good to be true!” I decided that I would map out the system that I use with all of my clients so that people can have a better understanding of how I help people lose weight without calorie counting and extreme exercise. I never said it didn’t take work, I simply said it is a much more loving and healthier approach. Oh, and it most likely has nothing to do with what you are eating and how much you are moving.
My approach encompasses discovering a deep mind body connection in order to utilize our natural internal systems to achieve our ideal bodies. In order to achieve your ideal body I use my five-step system, which reflects the journey I went on to achieve my ideal body.
- Vision/Clarity: Why do you really want to lose weight and what does your life look like now that you are in your ideal body?
- Decompress from Stress: Discover how you are allowing internal dialogue to create low-level chronic stress and how to develop coping strategies that work for you.
- Claim Personal Power: What do you want to accomplish in your lifetime? Who are you when you are fully confident and full of acceptance? In what areas of your life do you need to step up and live full out?
- Connect with food: Your relationship with food is based on the beliefs you have about the food you put in your body. No food is bad or evil; it simply gives you information about how you digest it and how you digest life. Overeating and binge eating is caused by lack of awareness and a misunderstanding of what naturally thin living is.
- Flow to your ideal body: How loving movements like yoga can be enough to achieve the body of your dreams. No need for maximum effort or punishment. Find your ideal path for life and easily move towards it.
This system applies for both men and women; however, I would tailor it to either audience as we lose weight very differently. We have different levels of hormones that effect the way our bodies prefer to release weight.
