Here are the simple things I do to be healthy, slim, and happy. I hope you will learn to do the same.
I love eating healthy and a part of a healthy diet includes vegetables. Everyone should be on a diet at all times, to live a long healthy life. People need to realize what a diet means and start going on one. I am not saying eliminate desserts or your favorite fast foods but it’s about time to stop eating to much of those foods. Eat less fatty foods and eat more of healthy ones. Try to set up a daily routine or a game plan so to speak and plan ahead your foods. For example only eat a dessert once a week, like on a Saturday, and when your at the supermarket don’t buy snacks, desserts, and other unhealthy junk foods that will lead you craving them and wanting them more when there sitting in your refrigerator at home. Just don’t buy them! If you don’t buy unhealthy items, then you will not eat them.
Write a list of healthy inexpensive groceries and stick to the list, don’t buy any more items that are a waste of your money and health. If you are a person that needs sweets or snacks than research healthy recipes and add them to your grocery list. Plan ahead all your meals for an entire week and prepare items ahead to make your dinner fast to cook. For example, cut up your onions needed for the next day, or maybe some bell peppers, preparing all my ingredients is what I love to do. I make sure I have every thing cut up, even my meats for the whole week, so when I cook I don’t waste energy or valuable time. This also can prevent you from eating later dinners, because it took you a short time to have every thing ready.
Try to wake up early and set your alarm, to have a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but when dinner comes along the earlier the better, because if you eat later in the night or before you sleep, you are more likely to gain weight from being less active. I eat dinner at five o’clock every day and an hour after dinner I go out for a nice slow jog in my neighborhood. I exercise in the morning at six o’clock for two hours than eat breakfast at eight o’clock, if you wake up earlier and exercised before you eat, you will be amazed at how quickly you can lose weight. So in total I exercise about three hours during the day, but at different times, so I stay active, healthy, slim, and happy. Remember to also get enough sleep so your body can feel refreshed and more active in the day!
To avoid snacking on the wrong foods is very simply, just snack on fruit or vegetables, having twenty grapes, is better than having twenty chips. I can’t stress this enough that all you have to do is never buy the junk foods! Don’t buy it!
The most important thing is motivation, make sure you stay positive, but face reality and what you see when you look in the mirror, and if your happy with what you see. The best way to motivate yourself is to exercise and experience it with someone you know, your not alone!
Never be a couch potato, but if you must watch TV, do exercise while you watch TV the less active you are the more the weight will add up.
If life is so short you might as well make a big effort to live the best life you can, with fewer regrets. Stay strong and don’t give up there is no perfect you, but there is a happy and healthier you.
