Ever seen happy looking couples out for a jog? Or down at the gym working out and having fun? I’ve seen a few, but never have I seen a couple doing some kind of yoga/body weight exercise combo.
There’s a DVD for everything and according to WeFitFor2:
Together, with your partner—a lover, friend, or anyone you are connected to—you can combine physical and technical tactics to emotionally connect your bodies, and your minds, with the power of closeness and touch.
I must confess I cringed when I saw this (many YouTube videos from the DVD here).
Yes I’m speaking out of my own experience but I’d be amazed at any couple who can pull off this kind of exercise routine without getting into an all out fight. I also wonder how relative body weights and strengths come into play.
My attempts at “couple exercise” have generally turned into rivalry or one person getting annoyed at the other’s lack of commitment or intensity.
That aside, I’m sure many of you have had a positive experience working out with your loved one.
