Bikram yoga! The whole practice is centered around the spine and getting fresh oxygen in the blood stream- it's like a trip to the gym, chiropractor, and spa all in one!

I recently realized that I really do need to get my weight under control and set myself a 30 day schedule. I am eating lots of grains and green leafy vegetables, but I sure would like to try that cleanse...

I like to reset by setting up an environment where i don't need to talk. Ideally I like to go to the coast and walk and sit and meditate with as little talking as possible. If i can't get away then time in a library reading a book refreshes me.
If like me you have a family - plan a weekend of quiet. Negotiate with the family to give you this quiet weekend, ring family and friends on Friday, set out the weekend routine on the fridge so you can point to, stay away from the TV (if not all of the family then just you), sit in the garden and listen, listen to your children wholeheartedly but only answer important questions.
Smile a lot.

As a teacher, Its important for me to reset myself every few months to get my mind, body, and health focused! By doing so I pamper myself with a spa Day and try a new recipe. If I feel the need to take time away, I drive to the beach for the weekend, and take a good book to read while hearing the sounds of the ocean. Something about hearing water calms me. I come back as a new person and can continue my everyday with high spirits!

I reset my life's buttons by walking in the local Preserve, enjoying nature, getting my mind off of the 'cares' of the day. Then I return home and take a long, warm, cleansing shower and pamper myself with a fragrant cleansing bar and lotion. Fragrance does a world of good, not only for the olfactory senses, but also for mental, emotional, and physical calm, such a necessary part of today's stressful lifestyles.

i just quit smoking which was the biggest reset I've ever experienced, but on a day-in-day-out basis I (gasp!) eliminate wine, drink a ton of water (bonus points for squeezing in lemon), and exercise as much as possible, including walking to places I'm able to without using the car. Throw in a trip to the library and you reset body and soul... It makes you feel more alive.
I like to take some me time to reset and focus back on taking care of myself and step away from the kids and home duties for a bit. That is a fun relaxing way to give me that boost I need to make it through that first tough workout or the first day of strictly watching my diet. I get some time to rest from the stress that might have led to falling off the wagon and at the same time I refocus on caring for myself.

a long yoga or pilates session to sweat it all out and start fresh.

I am a *huge* fan of always doing at least a quick 1-3 day cleanse, or longer, before ever starting a "diet" or lifestyle change. My problem is candida overgrowth...especially because of my love of wine and carbs :( The more I indulge in these naughty seducers, the more it feeds the bad bacteria/overgrowth. Yuck! I haven't tried this cleanse, but I'd LOVE to! The most recent cleanse I've tried was a combo of the master cleanse and a supplement cleanse kit of fiber/liver/digestive gel-caps.

I try to do something I would not normally do and that makes me a little afraid. After I try it I feel invigorated.
