Is the Swine Flu vaccine a good idea for us? Personally, I’m not too worried about myself because I’m not in the age group that is seems to be the hardest hit. All my years may be a good thing where Swine Flu is concerned. This stuff seems to be hitting and even killing the young and the healthy.
Should children be vaccinated for this flu? Are there any side effects to the vaccination that are known of at this time? It’s scary because I remember the polio vaccine gone wrong in my lifetime. I’ve heard respected doctors say “everyone should get the vaccination for swine flu.” I’ve also heard respected doctors say “not so fast.” Maybe there was a time when we trusted our government to do the right thing where we are concerned. I doubt many of us have that same trust now.
Is the media overplaying the Swine Flu? Seems that we always have some big scary thing in the press to be worried about. If it isn’t West Nile Disease from mosquitoes, it’s killer bees, or Y2K, or the end of the world in 2012 according to the end of the Mayan calendar. One of our leaders even advised folks a while ago to get duct tape for their windows to protect from a chemical terrorist attack.
Does anybody out there have any ideas about this Swine Flu business? If so, I’d love to hear the views. I really am concerned and the more I’ve tried to get information on this, the more confused I get.
