So the fistulagram wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The nurses who took care of me did such a great job, I’m almost sad they won’t be there with me tomorrow and Friday. Well, one of them will be with me Friday; don’t know about the other one.
What a fistulagram is is the doctor performing the procedure injects a dye into the fistula to see where it might lead inside the body. One of the nurses then moves the camera around to get different views as the dye moves through the fistula.
Pretty interesting procedure and only lasts just a couple of minutes, really, No pain involved at all.
Tomorrow’s exam I am not looking forward to, but it will be just fine.
