Where are you right now? Are you physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially in the state you want to be in? How about in your personal life, your career, and finances—are they in the shape you pictured, say, five years ago? What about the plans you had before you had children—have you begun building on them? Or, have you set them aside, feeling that they are no longer attainable?
Theses are questions we all have to ask ourselves in order to move ahead in life. We must keep our personal portfolio of goals under management and our progress account under frequent checks and balances. But we also must answer these questions truthfully.
Sometimes a goal takes longer to achieve than expected; but if no deposit is put in, then no asset can be received. Little steps everyday, no matter what our goals are, have a way to make a difference over time. Don’t give up. Never let go of a dream. Parenting does not have to be an interference of a dream. Why not let your experiences along the way be a bridge between your hopes and your fulfillments. Perhaps this was the road that your creator thought best you should first travel.
Ladies, stay encouraged and keep reaching for your dreams. Continue to build your unique bank account of personal achievement and satisfaction.
An important quote: “Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.” – Pope John Paul III
