I love the idea that life is a series of experiments. In his book, The Guinea Pig Diaries, A.J. Jacobs turns his life into a “series of radical lifestyle experiments.” One month he practices Radical Honesty, and another he completely outsources his life. Recently I picked up a book by David Cottrell called Monday Morning Choices. The idea behind this book is to make one powerful new choice every Monday for twelve weeks that will empower you to take your life “from Everyday to Extraordinary.” So I decided to combine and explore these two concepts: Life as an Experiment and Monday Morning Choices to create a new challenge for myself called Monday Morning Experiments.
The goal of this project is to step outside my comfort zone and embrace new paradigms for living. Each week I’ll document and record my own life experiments. For the first twelve weeks, I’ll be utilizing Monday Morning Choices as a guide. After the first twelve weeks, I’ll be pulling from a variety of sources to continue this experiment. I’d like to invite you to join me and share your own life experiments via the comments section each week.
