Myself and I Complimenting Me

We are all entitled to spoil and pamper ourselves with the one tool we never fail to use everyday—words! Now it’s my turn:

  • I adore my hair; it’s so manageable, wavy, and slow at growth that I can spare hours trying to style/blow/getting a new haircut.
  • I care for the tip of my hair; it reminds me that no matter how tousled it may be, it can always be neat with the right comb; just like the problems in my life can be solved with the right attitude.
  • I find my eye-brows to be irresistible, thick chunks of black hair which adds definition to each eye; how would I give the quizzical look without you …
  • I love my eye-lids; I can give the very Asian double eye-lid affect and the high-on-dope droopy look
  • I admire my eyelashes, they’re short; little curvy but helps me flutter in a cute manner.
  • I love my eyes, though they are not so prominent, they have allowed me to see the world as I exclusively and authentically view it;
  • I find my moles irresistible; it can be right under your nose and you’ll be surprised to know who may have the ability to help you locate your moles.
  • I adore my nose, it’s bulbous and short. It flares really well when in temper.
  • I love my ears, where I can filter all the negative comments, unruly gossips, callous remarks. Absorb ONLY the positive vibes thru mantra and listen to good music.
  • I care for my skin, it’s smooth like the surface of a volcano; confession from my good friend. Without it I wouldn’t be able to hug people I love. Who loves hugging just bones and raw flesh here?
  • I adore my cheeks and double chin. I am blessed because I have it in two folds.
  • I love my lips, it has its curves, hikes and alluring natural shades. I get to recite my mantras, smile, pay compliments, hike up my self-esteem and at the same time make everyone feel good about them. Not to forget the occasional outburst of profanity and smirk.
  • I find my hands attractive, it lets me write, touch, caress, hit, scratch, and feel even the abstract of all things. You have felt the wind, haven’t you?
  • I am impressed with my arms; it has those pretentious muscles when I carry dumbbells and I am able to go white water rafting because of it.
  • I love my boobs; it’s big for my frame. I personally think it’s to cover a bigger heart which is hidden beneath it.
  • I feel affection for my belly button; it serves as a point to fold up my bulging belly. When I’m seated that is.
  • I respect my flab; it allows me to eat my favorite food and reminds me to work out when my muffin-top over-spills. It knows best when to leave my body.
  • I sashay my hips; it looks slightly curvy and sways really well for salsa;
  • I slap my thighs in gusto; it adds a rhythm to my steps and vibrates when I walk; that’s my signature cat-walk with volume on the streets;
  • I expose my calves; looks good in skirts and mini skirts … allows me to have a tattoo on it;
  • I love my feet; it looks awesome on any stilettos, pumps, peep-toes and snuggles comfortably in sneakers.
  • I’m happy with my posture, balance and buoyancy because I can walk in peep-toe heels, run in pumps, dive underwater, float on the surface and gambol in slippers.
  • I respect my body; it’s the main reason why I am able to wear my favorite dresses.
  • I like my height as I can walk under high or low barriers/ sign boards. It makes no difference to me.
  • I am satisfied with my weight as it at times it refuses to budge even after 2 servings of rice, meat and dessert.
