“Jesus gave this answer: I tell you the truth, the son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the father does the son also does.”
No! We cannot do anything without God. If the son can do nothing by himself, this is saying to me I can do nothing by myself. I can do only what I see Christ do because he left a pattern of what I should do in the word of God. As a Christian I am to be Christ-like. The road map Christ left is for me to follow and for everyone else who is following Christ, amen.
Philippians 4:13 tells me, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” This is another reminder that I can do nothing by myself.
