LOVE is the Elixir of all Ills and it is the greatest power that Humans can put into use in order to achieve the seeming impossibilities. LOVE is succinctly mentioned in the Christian Scriptures.
1 CORINTHIANS 13
“And now I will show you the more excellent way of all. I may speak with the tongues of men or angels, but if I am without love, I am a sounding gong or a clanging cymbal. I may have the gift of prophecy, and know every hidden truth. I may have faith strong enough to move mountains, but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may dole out all I possess, or even give my body to be burnt, but if I have no love, I am none the better.”
“Love is patient. Love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude. Never selfish, not quick to take offence. Love keeps no score of wrongs, does not gloat over other men’s sins, but delights in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face. There is no limit to its faith, its hope, and its endurance.”
“Love will never come to an end. Are there prophets? Their work will be over. Are there tongues of ecstasy? They will cease. Is there knowledge? It will vanish away, for our knowledge and our prophecy alike are partial, and the partial vanishes when wholeness comes.... My knowledge now is partial. Then it will be whole, like God’s knowledge of me. In a word, there are three things that are eternal: Faith, Hope, and Love, but the greatest of them all is LOVE.”
John 15:12
Jesus said, “ A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another.”
1 John 4:8
Love is the bridge by which man may come to God and eternal joy. “He that loveth not, knoweth not God, for God is Love.”
Matthew 5:44-45
“Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you, that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven. For He maketh His Sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
Well, this probably explain as to how ‘Heaven can be brought down to Earth’ if humans are able to manifest those attributes as mentioned above.
How?
Psalm 10:46
Answer : “Be still and know I Am God.”
Where?
Answer : God also dwells within the deep Recesses of the human Mind as the ‘Holy Life Force’ known in Christianity as the Holy Spirit, in Islam as Roh Allah or Zat Illahi, in Sikh Scriptures as Naam Kelaah / Shabath / Hukam, in Hindu parlance as Aathi Paraa Shakti, Aad Shakti, Shiva Shakti or Prana, in Chinese sacred writings as Tao or Chi. Yesod or Shin in Jewish Cabbalistic tradition. Mana to the polynesian and Hawaiian Kahunas. Hence, it is Universal.
When one is able to humble oneself by Letting Go Letting God completely in his/her prayers / meditations, there is an opportunity to enter into the Super Cosmic Consciousness State to the extend that an ecstatic Awakening of Divine Love will be manifested (still subject to the Grace of God Who Is Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent). And God is Love and Love is God.
Thus, the Scripture advise us that one should, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God within (mind) and all else shall be added unto you.” This, therefore, is the primary purpose of our existence on earth.
