what does it mean?
It’s crazy how a little word as new
can mean many different things
In God terms being made brand new
is letting go of your past and starting over
Many people would give anything to go
back in time and redo there life in
a different way … or fix a mistake.
I have been in church all my life
as I was growing up I slipped away
from God and did what most teenagers
I drank, partied, all of it.
Sad thing was I knew it was wrong.
I moved in with my dad when I graduated
High School and got back in to church.
I was starting over brand new … only thing
is I was so focused on wanting everyone
to know I was changing my life around
and I felt I had to prove myself to them
when really all I needed to worry about
was my relationship with God.
I went to Generation on Thursday
like I always do which is a youth
place for teens in college and for
the first time God spoke to me through
that sermen. He was talking about in
Luke 15 about the prodical son and I
relized how much I was like the other brother
the one who always did what he was told
but in his heart he was like the other son.
That is what truly changed me.
realizing that my actions mean nothing
if my heart isn’t in the right place.
so I say to everyone who reads this.
remember my name
God has such a bright future for me
and I am going to preach his word
to everyone and show everyone
how amazing he is by being the light
of the world.
