After listening to New York Times bestselling author Michael Losier discuss his book, Law of Attraction, I thought there were a few great points made that I wanted to share with all of you.
There are three words that we all use that bring what we don’t want into our lives:
“Don’t.”
“Not.”
“No.”
So, how is the Universe like Google and Dogs?
Type in “no goldfish” in Google and what comes up? Entries about goldfish.
Say “Not going to the park” to a dog and watch their reaction. Their tail will start wagging and they’ll get excited because all they hear is “park.”
Google and Dogs don’t recognize the words “Don’t, Not, No” when you use them in front of other words. Neither does the Universe. Think about your own life and areas that you have focused on what you don’t want. For example, maybe it’s a job you have. You’ve probably run through the list of everything you hate about your job or the people you work with. You may say, “I know I don’t want to work somewhere where I sit in front of a computer all day.” What does the universe hear and bring more of into your life? “Sit in front of a computer all day.” Or maybe in dating or your relationship, you talk about the things that bother you about someone. “I’m not going to be with someone who watches sports all day.” What do you attract? Exactly that person.
So, how do we reset our negative thoughts to get positive results? We change our dialogue to discuss what we do want. Instead of “I don’t want to live in a small place anymore.” Start saying, “I want to live in an open and spacious house.” Your words create vibrations, which attracts like vibrations and brings you what you want into your life.
