Sometimes a friend will be there for you day after day.
Sometimes this friendship will fade away.
The one and only friend who is true.
Is the friendship you have with God above
He died for our sins, so that we may live.
He let go of our past, and he did forgive.
In the bible it will tell you, how to get the gift of life.
How to pray about sickness, war, and strife.
The day will come that all knees will bow down to him.
And he will take us to heaven to bide within.
It is a promise we all know he will keep
And when this happens, tears of joy we will weep.
Choose your friends very carefully and with trust.
Because a honest friendship is definitely a must.
When in doubt about a person you will meet.
Ask for guidance from God, and he will keep you from defeat.
