This morning as I got out of home to board my cab to work, I plugged in my ear phones only to have myself lost in the melody of my favorites, to be able to beat the boredom of a long tiresome journey. All my steps were to keep pace with the rhythm of the music that I could listen to. Considering the choice of fast beats and drums, with jazzy amorous lyrics, I could not help but fantasize my life trying to relate. Interesting! For brief moments I love to get lost in my imagination, I guess it’s my fuel to combat the grueling day that always lies ahead.
This habit pursued me, for almost twenty five years of my life, and I discovered something new about my imagination today. I suddenly realized that everyone around me was dancing to my favorite tunes, :) and mind it, it was absolutely synchronized. No choreography, no expensive settings, no script, no direction, only real natural life.
Another interesting realization was that while listening to a number that favored a guy’s expressions of love using different colors in describing his lady love, I happened to witness the coming of those colors right in front of my eyes. Everything that passed by me had the right color to the right note. It was randomly synchronized :) I know, but that’s exactly how I felt.
Being amused I had this smile that I could not wipe off my face, the same smile that is un-wipeable (Am I allowed to coin words!! ;)) when thinking of someone lovable. I could see the world’s a stage, not just with actors, but with absolute entertainers.
It was refreshing and I was ready for the day ...
