I was just reading an article that talked about what we attract into our lives, it stated:
- Good things don’t happen while we’re frustrated.
- Happy news doesn’t come while we’re depressed.
- Windfalls can’t arrive while we’re in panic.
And it made me think of the expression, “When it rains, it pours.” This expression is used in both the positive and negative sense. This article I was reading talked states that the energy that we give off attracts like energy. And when I think about my own life, whenever I am feeling down about something or frustrated, it does seem that everything bad seems to follow in line. And the same is true when things are going really well.
I had read about the law of attraction a few years ago back when The Secret first came out and had sort of forgotten about it until recently when I came across this article. The question is, what do we do about this? Essentially what it tells us is that in order to bring what we want into our lives; we have to act as though we already have it. It is the feeling that we give off (the energy) that attracts what we want. I even think about the Dalai Lama, have you ever noticed that he is always laughing? Even in inappropriate settings, he giggles. He knows that feeling happy, brings happiness. Jim Carrey wrote a check for $20 million dollars and kept it in his wallet when he was a struggling actor. And we all know how that turned out for him!
Have any of you had positive experience with all of this? I’m curious to hear if you have.
