My Eternal Bride,
You can’t earn me. There is no art of putting on your lipgloss that can lure me to you. There is no strategic shading of your eye shadow that can lock my gaze. There is no fashion unique enough to delight me. There is no joke, intellect, or charm intriguing enough to divert my attention. There is no fragrance enticing enough to beckon me forth. There is no shine, shade, or softness, to your hair that can will me to touch you. There is no prayer that makes Me fond of you. There is no worship that can make me proud of you. There is no love that makes me love you. There is no gift from you grand enough to indebt e. I love you. I just do.
You can’t lose me. There is no blemish dark enough to deter me. There is no emptiness that I won’t fill. There is no hiding place that I can’t find. There is no place you can bury me that I can’t break through. There is no anguish I don’t bleed over. There is no hideous heart I can’t pierce. There is no deed, word, thought, judgment, lust, greed, hatred, disobedience that I don’t shed my light on. If even those are worthy of my light, what is outside my mercy? Nothing.
I’ll never leave you. I just won’t.
Your Captivated Husband
