One night I went to sleep and had a dream that I saw one of those snakes that comes out of the basket when the snake handler plays music. Well, I was dreaming that a snake handler was playing music and the snake started to come out of the basket, but in my dream, the sheet was the snake and it was going by the music and started to wrap itself around my neck. When I woke up the sheet was really wrapped around my neck and I started to try to yell for my mother a few times and she did not answer me. Then, all of the sudden, I saw a dark shadow standing beside my bed and I thought it was my mother, but when I went to reach out for it, the shadow disappeared. Finally I got my voice back and I yelled out for my mother, and she came. She said that I looked like I had seen a ghost. I felt like I had.
What do you think this dream means? Any ideas?
