I’ve been drawn to the television since the devastating earthquake that shook Haiti a few weeks ago. My heart has been touched tremendously by the loving and caring donations of love. It truly shows we are a loving and compassionate people. When one hurts, we all feel the pain and the suffering of our sisters and brothers no matter what color we are. It is a time for healing in our nation and across the country to untie as one.
As I watched people working side by side in perfect harmony to save lives there’s a smile of contentment on the face of the world. It is as though a ship lost at sea and someone sitting patiently in a lighthouse with a bright light of hope leading that ship safely ashore, that’s the look that I see when someone is found alive after days of being buried, a sense of relief that another pray has been heard and answered. I’m grateful for the ones that’s giving of their time and resources to do a deed that truly shows a kind act of love.
I commend your effort and willing spirit to continue to search. I know it must be a pain staking task to uncover a child that only began to live, and now that precious soul has been cut short due to such a horrible disaster. you are my heroes, and today there’s not many. Thanks to you all who put the “rays in the sun and the “light in the moon. What I’m trying to say is you are the sunrays that continue to shine through the rain and pain. And the moonlight that cast a perfect clear night when the world is foggy. Thank you! For casting a smile of hope for a brighter future for Haiti.
