Wine!

Wine! That delicious libation known for its health benefits, as well as for its ability to make any occasion special, will be the center of attention over Memorial Day weekend in Rockport, Texas. It’s time for the Fourteenth Annual Rockport Wine Festival, presented by the Texas Maritime Museum, May 29–30, 2010.

This weekend is a phenomenal event that everyone looks forward to all year long. It features over one hundred wines from all over the globe, a large variety of beers, delicious catered food to tempt the palate, great music, and vendors, all on the lovely grounds of the Maritime Museum. This festival is always a favorite, with balmy breezes and gorgeous views of the bay. Considering all the charm of this small seaside town, it is sure to become a cherished tradition!

This year, the festival features chef Brian May, an Austin, Texas, favorite, whose philosophy comes courtesy of Anthony Bourdain: “Good food, good drink, good view, and good company. What else is there in life?”

Exactly!
