Looking into the Past

Do you ever look at a neighborhood and wonder what it was like fifty or a hundred years ago? I do, quite frequently.

These photos are wonderfully composed and layered, some with more editing than others. Looking at them makes me realize that so much has changed through the years, while at the same time much has remained the same.

loved this, thanks. i heard there's a site out there somewhere that you can actually do this on your ipod WHILE you're standing at the location ... pretty amazing what we can do / envision / appreciate instantly anymore
A really nice art concept. I love the fact that i can see the true beauty behind the past . nicely done! my fave pic is the steps, and how the green grass and rolling hill was once there it was a different world back then..
