Half Past Hotness: Twelve Historic and Artistic Clocks

Colgate
Introduction | Start Slideshow

Clocks aren’t always our best friends. They move too fast, they move too slow, they remind us that we’re late, or sometimes they prove that our lives are slowly slipping away. Many times clocks don’t exactly deliver good news, but wouldn’t we take the bad news better if the clock were incredibly original and fun? These clocks tell time, but they tell it with style.

Just think about all that these clocks have seen - all the passersby, all the storms, all the seasons changing, all the passage of, well, time. Can you tell I'm contemplating my own mortality, clocks?
I've seen that clock in New York. It's completely incomprehensible and repulsive.
I love the look of the Prague Astronomical Clock. Hope to see it in person someday.

Love the sundial in Ireland as well as the astronomical clock in Prague. Though I'm pretty certain I couldn't tell time on either of them.
It feels good to write.
